GED

The General Education Development (GED) program focuses on the development of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies skills in preparation for the GED exam. When all the components of the exam are passed, the student will be certified as having met high school-level academic skills.

Students enrolled in the GED program will take periodic practice tests to assess their progress and readiness to take the GED exam.

The exam is offered at various sites throughout the state and is administered by the State of Connecticut.

Students can now take the GED test online. Learn more by clicking here
